Teaching Technician – Electromechanical

We have an opening for Teaching Technician – Electromechanical at our Chattanooga State campus!
The role will be responsible for the following:
Assist instructors on multiple campuses (including The Volkswagen Academy) in instruction, lab setup and cleanup, equipment installation and maintenance in the areas of electrical, mechatronics, automated controls, and other electrical related courses.
Course instruction duties will also be assigned as needed.Position Requirements:
Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Systems, Mechatronics, Automated controls or a closely related discipline; or industry-recognized certification (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Fanuc, etc.)
with at least 2 years work experience in advanced manufacturing, programmable logic controllers, systems integration, networking, industrial robotics, or electromechanical systems.
Teaching Experience is a plus.
