We have an opening for Specialist, Institutional Effectiveness, Research, & Planning at our Chattanooga State campus!
The role will be responsible for the following:
-perform basic, pre-built database queries, organize and filter data sets based on parameters, analyze and interpret data sets and report output appropriately for requestor -coordinate and monitor annual assessment and improvement planning process for administrative offices and operational goals for academic departments/divisions through Campus Labs Planning software or similar platform -assist office staff with activities related to assessment and reporting as needed including but not limited to the administration of required standardized tests, coordination of institutional assessment materials, coordination of institutional profiles and basic data requests to external agencies -monitor and maintain the faculty roster and credentials for accreditation and reporting purposes through Campus Labs Compliance Assist Credentials software or similar platform and train academic department appointed personnel in the process -coordinate and monitor all surveys and survey administrations, to internal and external constituents, and assist with the collection, analysis, and dissemination of results to appropriate parties including course evaluations, alumni surveys, etc.
-coordinate leave forms and serve as proxy to Executive Director for leave reporting for office staff’ coordinate travel forms for office staff; assist with budget forms, requisitions, and purchasing for office staff including the management of office supplies -monitor and maintain the IERP web pages on the marketing site including the Student Achievement and Consumer Information pages (for broken links and updated information, coordinating with appropriate others when needed) -receive, send, log, and monitor correspondence for the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and regional accreditation body (SACSCOC) -coordinate, manage, and organize the scanning and indexing of historical and current documents to BDMSPosition Requirements:
-Associate Degree in any discipline -Work experience: two years clerical, functional technical, or administrative support
Preferred Qualifications: -Associate Degree in fields of social and behavioral sciences, education, or computer information systems -Work experience: two years clerical, functional technical, or administrative support in education-related employment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Internet, etc.)
in order to sort, filter, create tables, charts, graphs, and communicate information -Oral and Written Communication skills; excellent customer service and effective working relationships with college staff and students -understanding of planning, assessment, and related cycles for improvement planning
