Web/Graphic Designer Role Specific Responsibilities
Create graphics, banners, landing pages, and other web content
Design layout and templates for maximum usability and focus on user experience
Utilize advanced CSS techniques in order to solve design issues
Utilize web content management system (CMS) in order to edit/create pages
Perform usability tests on interface design to insure cross-browser and mobile compatibility
Provide expert design advice on projects and make recommendations for improving website
Closely follow trends and developments in technology and integrate them into our environment and practices
Contribute to design projects for print, advertising, and tradeshows
Help create continuity in design between print and digital media
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities

Bachelor's degree in Web Design and Development, Graphic Information Technology or related field from an accredited college or university.
Experience: 1 - 2 years of web design and development experience required.
Professional Skills: Must have strong collaboration skills, creativity, and drive to be innovative.
Ability to work well independently with limited oversight while remaining productive is critical.
Strong communication skills (oral and written) are required.
Role Specific Competencies: Familiarity with SEO best practices
Experience with enterprise Content Management Systems required (experience with Joomla!
CMS helpful) Expert experience with Adobe CC suite of applications, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Special Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a background check, physical and drug screen.
This is a Monday – Friday position.
Work after normal business hours and weekend work will be necessary occasionally.
Online portfolio or related work will be required for submission and review.
