The Endoscopy Nurse Manager is responsible for assisting with the supervision of personnel in the endoscopy unit and is accountable to MKT VP Surgical SVC Line for coordination of all patient care given and related supporting services of the area.
The main function of the Endoscopy Nurse Manager is that of leadership to promote a cooperative staff effort in providing the highest quality of patient care in preparing patients for endoscopy procedures, during procedures and recovery from the procedures through assessment, diagnostic and educational processes to assist with the daily implementation of the endoscopy schedule.
The Endoscopy Nurse Manager is responsible for the allocation and completion of assigned functions in the daily operation of the Endoscopy Unit.
They will also, assisting with the development and implementation of hospital and departmental philosophy, goals and objectives, policy and procedures.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program, Bachelor Degree Required
Licensure or Certification: 1) Licensed in the State of Tennessee; 2) National Certification;
3) BCLS, ACLS certified.
Professional Organization: Active membership.
Experience: Five years of clinical experience.
Equipment/Skills: Refer to performance skills.
Physicians, patients, staff members, other departments, vendors, families, students and faculty members.
