Outdoor Recreation Technician (Student Activities)

We have an opening for Outdoor Recreation Technician (Student Activities) at our Chattanooga State campus!
The role will be responsible for the following:
Assist in planning a comprehensive and diverse recreational program inclusive of any student who wishes to participate -Organizes rosters, game and event scheduling and tournament play -Assist in recruitment, training and supervision of student workers, volunteers and referees -Conducts tournaments, pre-game and captains’ meetings -Plans hosts and manages leisure time and recreational events and trips -Develops, reviews, and enforces intramural policies, procedures and game rules -Manages and oversees the game room, equipment checkout, bulletin board, electric sign and gym during “Open Gym” as well as leagues and events -Handles monetary transactions for events and trips in conjunction with the business office of the college. -Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Education and Training: Associate of Science Degree or higher.
At least 2 years of intramurals, college recreation or associated career field Wilderness first responder and experience with outdoor recreation. First aid & CPR Certification
