We have an opening for Instructor, Electromechanical (Volkswagen Academy) at our Chattanooga State campus!
The role will be responsible for the following:
Course and lab instruction in the area of Circuits, Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance and Troubleshooting, Controls, and Systems integration of Industry 4.0.
Course and curriculum development, evaluation of students, maintenance of attendance and grade records, and maintenance of 5S practices in all work, instructional and lab areas.
Independent learning skills are necessary.
Other duties may consist of recruiting, selecting, and advising potential students.Position Requirements:
Associate’s Degree in Electronics, Electrical Systems, Engineering Technology, Industrial Systems, or a closely related discipline or an industry recognized certification (Siemens, Fanuc, etc.)
with at least 2 years work experience in electronics, electrical systems, advanced manufacturing, process controls, systems integration, networking, industrial robotics, electromechanical systems, or mechanical maintenance.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering or Engineering Systems Technology, or a closely related discipline with at least 5 years of experience in the above mentioned areas.
Teaching Experience is a plus.
