Hours: Monday – Friday CST 10am – 6:30pm
Location: St Louis, MO-Potential work from home with 1-2 days in the office per month

Here’s what a typical day may look like:
FHPS Benefits Consultant is Responsible for telephonically facilitating employee health benefits sales and retention and new member outreach to welcome them to the program and ensure they are enrolled in the product that best meets their needs.
• Contacts new members introducing them to their product choice and welcoming them to the program.
• Enroll employees in products during open enrollment and new employees throughout the year. Prospecting and produce revenue through new sales.
• Provides information to current and potential enrollees to highlight and explain benefit enhancements and/or changes.
• Responds to inquiries from members and HR staff.
• Researches and coordinates responses to inquiries.
• Works with Customer Service and Claims to resolve member issues.
• Remains informed of the various competitor products and participate and attend various training programs to enhance selling and servicing abilities.
• Employs consultative sales skills to influence the decision making process.
• Responds to inbound calls and chats regarding a variety of topics including benefits, new products, and service issues.
• Acts as back up in the field when necessary to fill gaps.
Paid training includes base job and licensing (Life and Health Insurance license required within 60 days of hire).

Qualifications:
- Requires an AA/AS/BA/BS or experience in a related field
- 2 years of sales service /hospitality experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
