Cook Part-Time

The Caldsted Foundation Retirement Community in Chattanooga, TN is looking for a Part-Time Cook. We prefer candidates who enjoy working with people over the age of 65. Food preparation experience is preferred, but not required. We can train on the job!

Job Overview: The part-time cook is responsible for making salads, bread, and other food preparation/cooking as needed.

Work Schedule: Weekend Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The schedule runs one weekend off; the following weekend on.

Pay Information: Employees are paid weekly on Thursdays. Starting pay is $14/hour.

Weekly Hours: 14 hours every other week. Holiday pay available after three months. Vacation pay is available at one year. Semi-annual bonus pay starts at 18 months and every six months thereafter, with good job performance.

About Us: The Caldsted Foundation provides retirement housing for seniors over the age of 65. We provide three meals/day, Monday through Saturday for our elderly residents. Sunday meals are breakfast and lunch.
