The Chattanooga Times Free Press seeks an Account Relationship Specialist to join and support our dynamic Advertising Team of sales professionals. 

Job Summary:
This is a support position to the Advertising Sales Team of Multimedia Sales Consultants and as customer service to advertisers and prospects. This is an inside role with the goal of supporting the Team by leading all support preparation and fulfillment of advertising campaigns, creating proposals, developing creative concepts for digital and print advertising, and leading the fulfillment interaction with advertising clients.

Job Responsibilities and Skill Set:

  • Must be highly detail oriented. 
  • Self-motivation is required. 
  • Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must have accurate spelling and grammatical skills. 
  • Must be highly computer literate and have an understanding of and navigational knowledge of PC and Windows operating systems, including use of Google Workspace and Google Drive, Microsoft Word for Windows, Excel and PowerPoint.  
  • This individual will work to support the advertising process within deadlines and maintain records, contracts and accounting information.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work quickly and accurately to meet daily media production deadlines. 
  • Must use a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all related production activities. 
  • Must have the ability to visualize the advertiser's concepts and bring them to successful completion. 
  • Must be able to produce professional letters and sales presentations that are factually correct, grammatically correct and spelled properly.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, highly motivated team-centric environment. 
  • Must have good layout/design sense. 
  • Must be able to operate general office equipment such as desktop computer, laptop and copy machines. Knowledge of iPad use is a plus.
  • Performance will be measured on ability to maintain excellent team and customer service, and to help support the Multimedia Advertising Sales Consultants to secure, maintain and increase revenue and market share. 

Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED equivalent. Media industry experience is preferred but not required.
