Police Chief

The City of New Hope, Tennessee, is currently hiring a

Police Chief

Requirements to Apply:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be "P.O.S.T Certified" (Peace Officer Standards & Training).
• Have 3+ years experience.
• Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must pass a Psychiatrics evaluation.
• Excellent physical condition and stamina to perform required duties effectively.

Key Qualifications:

• Good communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure, make quick, sound decisions in stressful situations.
• Ability to work smoothly as part of a team and/or with other law enforcement agencies.
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekend and holidays when required.

Starting Salary is $50,000.
