Primary Responsibilities:
● Provides guidance to plant’s electricians to resolve plant electrical issues and maintain processes
● Confirms electrical systems’ components’ capabilities by testing methods and properties
● Troubleshoots and supports existing plant electrical systems to maintain plant’s performance and
uptime focus on control systems, products, and power distribution
● Engineers, designs, and implements new projects to improve the plant, replace old equipment and
improve reliability
● Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling
electrical components
● Oversees the construction and implementation of capital projects and routine electrical maintenance
● Supports and takes ownership of new and existing installations and processes
● Optimizes the plant’s electrical maintenance programs including electrical preventative maintenance
program and provides reports for these activities
● Ensures plant’s and laboratory’s systems meet all regulations and requirements
● Additional duties as required


Education: BS in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years experience in Industrial Automation, industrial manufacturing, Control
Systems, or Power Distribution
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rockwell Automation Software, Variable Frequency Drives and Industrial
Networking Practices Strong problem-solving, training , organizational, documentation, computer,
and mentoring capabilities
Solid understanding of production processes
Hands-on experience developing PLC code from conceptualization and migrating existing control
system platforms to modern software/hardware
Training in AB Control Logix PLC systems, power distribution maintenance, protective relaying,
and motor control a plus


Preferred Skills
● Knowledge: plant facilities and equipment, plant and laboratory safety procedures and
● Skills: Outlook, Excel, MS Office Suite and SAP, attention to detail
● Abilities: Task-oriented, ability to plan, implement, and complete tasks, excellent
communication skills
