Manufacturing Planner / Scheduler

Hasko Industries, a Chattanooga-based OEM (original equipment manufacturer) producing industrial woodworking machinery since 1930, has an immediate opening for an experienced Manufacturing Planner/Scheduler.

Hasko designs and manufactures robust, productive and efficient woodworking equipment, for both standard model and for custom machines. We give our customers a competitive advantage through designs that improve uptime, labor content and output.

Job Overview:

Reporting to the Director of Operations, in this highly visible position you will be a conduit between the Design Engineering team and Manufacturing/Assembly teams.  You will create complex Bills of Materials in our ERP system, develop process routings, plan, release, track and close production orders & purchase orders, create and coordinate project plans, estimate job costs and assist in attainment of KPI goals.  You will interface with all internal departments plus customers and suppliers. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 years of relevant planning / scheduling experience in a machine shop/assembly manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems, BOM structures and process routings
• Ability to read and understand mechanical part blueprints and basic shop mathematics
• PC User: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

AS/BS in Industrial Technology or similar; Tool & Die Journeyman Certificate, Job Shop Estimating.
