Hi-Tech Tire & Wheel Auto Repair in Dayton, Tennessee, seeks an experienced Automotive Technician.

The right candidate must:

  • Be experienced in general automotive diagnostics and repairs
  • Be specifically skilled in electrical diagnostics and upper-level diagnostics system repairs
  • Have 5 years of shop experience and upper-level diagnostics skills.

Pay: Up to $35/hr commission/flat rate, plus earned Bonuses.

Bonus Pay Information:

  • Significant sign-on bonus to be paid at an agreed-upon time frame after the new employee has demonstrated the ability to effectively perform this job with the utmost professionalism and skills.
  • Other bonus stipulations will apply including a certain amount of productivity before bonus is paid.
  • Bonus will only be paid to career-minded individuals who have the skill set and the necessary drive it takes to effectively, efficiently and properly diagnose then repair gas and/or diesel automobiles.
  • We also pay when employees obtain/upkeep their certifications.

Other skill requirements:

  • Candidates must have responsible work habits, be team-oriented and must look out for the best interest of the shop and customers at all times.
  • Successful candidates will be friendly and diplomatic with all individuals they may come in contact with during day-to-day job responsibilities.
  • Must have the ability to safely lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Must be adept at properly working in a shop environment with heavy, potentially dangerous equipment.

Certification support and growth opportunities:

ASE certifications are not required, but someone who is career-minded and who plans to become certified would be the ideal candidate for this position. We pay when employees obtain/upkeep their certifications.

Other:

  • A PORTION OF RELOCATION EXPENSES MIGHT BE REIMBURSED FOR THE IDEAL CANDIDATE after performing at high level for a specified amount of time. The amount of reimbursement will be determined at a later date, once the candidate has fulfilled their agreed-upon obligations.
